From the vigorous online Voyage training, to joining the great “Life at Marriott” Snapchat team, to one-on-one meetings with my coach and champions, I have learned a great deal. Having a background in construction and civil engineering, I was fortunate enough to contribute directly to the successful renovation of 80 rooms and other “back of the house” areas, as well as promoting new use for unexplored public spaces. Our work in the hotel has been focused on developing the Kaizen/3s methodology in the department as well as running the day-to-day maintenance.
